Gold Coast Student Final Year DVD’s

At this time of year the duplication machines are humming with DVD’s for Gold Coast and Brisbane senior students..

Often the students have producd a DVD that has memories of their senior year including the formal. They usually include individual photos, shots from events through the year, a powerpoint presentation, formal photos and some contributions form the arts and crafts area including the odd video.

Just finished a job for an event that is still going!

Yes before the event was finished the organisers wanted 1000 CD’s of the “Special Sessions” duplicated so that they could be handed to the attendees before they went home.

Editing Movies on DVD

Lately we have had quite a few customers who have wanted DVD’s duplicated but before doing this they needed pieces removed from the original DVD. They want their DVD edited.

We can do this!

Often the customer says ….

Please take the booth number out at the end of the DVD as that was for last year.

What we do is copy the content from the DVD, edit out what is requested and then create a new master to duplicate from.

Yes there can be a slight loss in quality but this is difficult to pick.

Extract or Rip your Audio Tracks from your DVD’s and improve your product!

A customer this week had three different seminars on 9 DVD’s and they wanted the audio tracks from these DVD’s to be added to the pack they were selling.

What they wanted was the audio tracks ripped from the DVD’s and saved as MP3’s.

This we did.

One CD for each DVD and on each CD there are the Mp3 tracks. We used a special audio ripping program to lift the tracks from the DVD.

For your customer this means that all they need to do to get the audio tracks on to their ipod or Mp3 player is add them to their itunes library or drag and drop them and then they have your seminar on the go.

As a guide a 3 hour seminar section takes about 200mb so it is possible to get the audio tracks from one two day seminar on one CD as Mp3’s.

DVD Editing job

This week Gold Coast DVD Copy got a job where we had to take a section from an existing DVD and remaster and duplicate it as a new DVD. This meant we had to lift the portion of the old DVD that the customer wanted, edit it so we got exactly what was required then put a menu structure on the front of the DVD and then burn a master disc. After that we could copy it normally.
